The second in a series of 12"x12" floral paintings that demonstrates techniques used by Flemish artists like Jan van Huysum in the 17th and 18th centuries.  The painting is built step-by-step from the imprimatura, umber, dead and color glazing layers to create incredible depth using Traditions acrylics.  Twelve reference photos are included.
